On November, we run 2 CF projects at Makuake, where we launch projects often, and 1 project at campfire since a year to have had a project in there.
The contents of each project are different, but all projects are for men’s, 20s and 30s (one Makuake is a strong woman's image). As a result, 2 projects at Makuake reached a goal; supported from about 20 people and gathered over 700,000 yen and 160,000 yen (strong woman’s image).
However, there was no backers at the campfire… We can't end with only failure, we must study from there. Actually the results were really obvious ...
There was a completely different number of active users (viewers). Makuake (700,000 yen) about 8000 views on the first day, 30000 views in total, 20 backers Makuake (160,000 yen) 1300 views on the first day, total 6450 views, 11 backers Campfire 180 views on the first day, 2900 views in total, 0 backers.
The 160,000 Yen project certainly need to increase the number of views, but before talking about this. Campfire is much heavy problem. We have to collect and find project backers by ourselves ( a most of viewer is coming from SNS (our advertisement)).
“Increasing the number of views = Increasing the number of project fans” is essential. For that, if we had an advertising, we calculated. It is said that an average of 100 yen is required to get 1 like for FB advertising.
If you want to collect 1000 views, from a simple calculation that requires 1000 likes, that is to say, we need an investment of 100,000 yen. Even if you invest 100,000 yen, you can only expect 160,000 yen sales ...Where is prime costs…
However, if this “Like” is not to “Project” but to “Everything Inc”, it is possible to make an assumption that we can get(earn) 100,000 yen in every time, so it will be a little better.
What we learn from these project, is that it was too early to challenge the project on Campfire.
